THIS IS A 4 WEEK COURSE. THIS CLASS WILL RUN ON FRIDAYS FROM 3:00-4:00PM. GROUP WILL HAVE A MAX OF THREE PRESCHOOLERS AGES 3-5. CLASSES WILL BE 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16, 8/23 AND 8/30 .


THIS GROUP CLASS WILL FOCUS ON TEACHING PRESCHOOLERS ABOUT SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SKILLS. Social emotional learning is a process in which children acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to: Identify, understand, and manage emotions; Set and achieve positive goals; Feel and show empathy for others; Establish and maintain positive relationships and Make responsible decisions. Each week will focus on a different skills (i.e., self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship skills.
